The die cart features a high volume, adjustable center accumulating crosshead that is designed to make a smooth linear bore and give jacketing over different substrates.
Guill’s die cart crosshead has a maximum thru core of 18 in. and a maximum die ID of 23 in. The crosshead is also designed to handle thermoplastic applications and uses a tooling and isolation sleeve.
The tooling section of the die cart features quadrant heating. The crosshead stand is fit with an alignment station and concentric role guide. The stand is also part of the cleaning station, allowing users to eliminate the need to remove the crosshead for cleaning. The crosshead also has an on-the-fly catenary adjustment that maintained using simple hand tools.
