LAUDA exemplified the motto of this year’s Achema trade fair in Frankfurt: “One with the Future,” by presenting a new product line on March 16, 2015.
The new LAUDA PRO product line operates in a temperature range of -100 to 250° C. The advanced detachable multi-touch display, energy-saving air/water hybrid cooling system and natural refrigerants combine performance with environmental awareness to produce a concept of the future.
LAUDA has extended its range of circulation chillers within the new product line to include the MC 350. The MC 350 is a compact, space-saving unit that guarantees reliable continuous operation and fast, efficient heat dissipation in the laboratory.
The new LAUDA Ultracool process circulation coolers were also presented at this year’s ACHEMA in Frankfurt. Process circulation coolers are the preferred choice for outdoor industrial applications. Process circulation coolers have a working temperature range of between -5 and 25° C, powerful block pumps with internal bypass, low noise generation and flat flow rates with pressure characteristic curves.
LAUDA will present another highlight in the form of thermo-electric temperature control thermostating systems. Characterized by compact dimensions and a low weight, this constant temperature equipment incorporates functions based on the Peltier effect. Since the principle of temperature control is based on a current that flows through semiconductors, heating or cooling can be selected simply by reversing the polarity of the current direction. Coolants are not used in thermo-electric constant temperature equipment. LAUDA is emphasizing the increasing importance of thermo-electric temperature control in collaboration with subsidiary LAUDA-Noah.
LAUDA has provided high-quality devices for determining the viscosity, surface tension and interfacial tension of polymers, plastics, oils and surfactants for almost 50 years. It has established itself worldwide in research and quality assurance and sets standards for accuracy and reliability. 100 % subsidiary LAUDA Scientific GmbH assumed responsibility for all development, sales and service activities for LAUDA measuring instruments on March 1, 2015 and is celebrating its debut appearance at the ACHEMA 2015 trade fair.
