Henkel Adhesive Technologies—a provider of adhesives, sealants and functional coatings—plans to show off its new rapid LED curable adhesives at MD&M West, Feb. 7–9 in Anaheim, Calif. (Booth #3040).
Besides its new highly flexible and rapid LED curable adhesives specifically formulated for medical device assembly, Henkel also has the latest high power LED curing systems to demonstrate.
From light curable to room temperature curable to combination curable (light and RT), Henkel boasts that its medical device adhesives offer rapid processing, enhanced flexibility and high adhesion to a wide range of materials including hard-to-bond substrates. There’s fluorescence for detection, and Henkel tests its adhesives to the industry’s most comprehensive ISO 10993 biocompatibility standard. The company offers a wide range of formulas and viscosities.
New advancements in LED curing systems will also be available for hands-on trial, including the highest powered hand-held, spot and flood curing configurations to ensure rapid curing of all device designs. Multiple wavelengths and variable output are a few of the key features offered in these new LED curing systems.
