Humphrey expands proportional solenoid valve offering

March 12, 2019 By Danielle Kirsh

humphrey-logoHumphrey announced that it has expanded its ProControl line of proportional control solenoid valves.

The PV3 and PV10 miniature series are now available in inline or manifold piping with a precise flow control from 0-10 through 0-75 liters per minute. Four of the maximum calibrated pressure settings are offered in control voltages of 12V or 24V.

“The PV Series’ features low hysteresis, excellent turndown ratios and cycle repeatability,” Michael Hammond, director of product management and marketing, said in a press release. “Because the design is compact and flexible, we see many uses, including biomedical respiratory fields of oxygen delivery and patient ventilation, the analytical fields of test and measurement, and precise pressure control in general industry.”

Humphrey’s expansion brings its ProControl series offering to five proportional solenoid valve sizes that cover variable flow control needs to about 500LPM, a proportional valve driver and two precision electronic pressure regulators.
