India media accused its government of failing to act to protect patients potentially harmed by Johnson & Johnson’s (NYSE:JNJ) now-recalled metal-on-metal hips.
Mumbai’s dna news source wrote this week that the state government “has turned a blind eye to the plight of thousands” by failing to investigate hip implants made by J&J subsidiary DePuy Orthopaedics, even after an August 2013 request from its Food & Drug Administration.
