Infab Corp. is touting its new Revolution lead and lead-free aprons with Kiarmor, Infab’s proprietary bi-layer radiation protection core material.

Kiarmor is the only core material in the world currently certified to IEC61331-1:2014 standards and the only lead-free core material to pass the stringent DIN standards, Infab noted in a news release yesterday. Lightweight Revolution aprons provide unrivaled lead and lead-free protection for all types of procedures.

“Kiarmor offers something no other radiation protective core material can – the only lead-free bi-layer material that passes all three universally-recognized testing procedures,” said Don Cusick, CEO of Infab. “Kiarmor delivers the lightest weight radiation protection on the market for maximum comfort and safety.”

Revolution Aprons are available in a wide variety of colors and styles, including: full wrap, front protection, and vest and skirt combinations. In addition to the exclusive Revolution outer material, a partial overlap increases protection, a back flap offers better weight support and a built-in :black belt” option provides better lumbar support. Professionally-designed for exceptional comfort and fit, every Revolution apron comes with Cool Wear moisture-wicking fabric.

Infab Corp. has been making advanced radiation protection products for more than 35 years.
