Infinium Medical has announced the release of the ClearVue Video Laryngoscope. At less than 350 grams, the device is lightweight. It is equipped with a 2.0 megapixel camera and anti-fog lens. There is a quick shot camera button for recording procedures and a 3.5-inch display. It comes with a two year warranty on the screen.
The ClearVue uses either reusable blades or low cost disposable blades, with company literature promising that the reusable blades can be used up to 1000 times, leading to a low per patient cost.

Infinium also notes, “The overall design is compact and ergonomic. A high resolution view of the glottis will enable clinicians first-attempt success while minimizing any chance of a complication during the intubation process.”
