ITelagen Named to Prestigious 2011 Inc. 5000 List of Fastest-Growing Companies

August 23, 2011 By Bio-Medicine.Org

NEW YORK, Aug. 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — ITelagen, Inc., a
leading provider of healthcare IT and medical billing solutions,
today announced that the company was named to the prestigious 2011
Inc. 5000 list, a compendium of the most entrepreneurial and
fastest growing companies in America.

This was the second year in a row that ITelagen qualified for
the Inc. 5000 and was placed on the list at position #2093, with an
extraordinary four-year growth rate of 120.22%. The healthcare
information technology market is estimated to be $53.8 billion by
2014, growing at a CAGR of 16.1%. The market is expected to
continue to grow because of the tremendous demand for general
applications which includes electronic health records.

“We are proud to have been named by Inc. Magazine as one of the
nation’s top entrepreneurial companies for the 2nd year in a row,”
commented ITelagen CEO, John O’Keefe on the award. “We look forward
to continued growth in 2011 and 2012 as the healthcare IT market
continues to increase with the adoption of electronic health
records.”

ITelagen’s continued growth is largely due to the growth in
adoption of electronic heath records (EHR) across the United
States. Under the HITECH Act of 2009, health care professionals can
qualify for incentive payments when they adopt certified EHR
technology. The bundled life-cycle solution from ITelagen that
delivers medical billing, EHR, HIPAA secure hosting and unlimited
IT support, automates the medical practices billing and assures
that physicians qualify for these newly defined incentives.

About ITelagen:

ITelagen® redefines Healthcare IT for medical practices by
providing electronic health records (EHR) as part of an entire
back-office solution that includes medical billing, unlimited IT
support and HIPAA secure EHR hosting. It’s a unique combination of
comprehensive billing and IT expertise bundled with EHR, all for a
flat percent of the physician’s collected revenue
