To help health systems navigate the impact of the changing health care landscape and optimize patient care, there’s now CareAdvantage from the Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices Companies. CareAdvantage is a holistic, data-driven approach, grounded in insights, that accesses the broad clinical, consumer and operational capabilities of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies. It will be available immediately in the U.S., with a phased rollout throughout the world to meet local requirements.
New delivery models are shifting the focus from volume to value and leading a rapid transformation that is impacting health systems, clinicians and patients alike. To help drive health care toward greater value-based purchasing, the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) has established goals through 2018 that shift to alternative payment models. As part of these goals, by 2018 HHS aims to have 90 percent of Medicare fee-for-service payments directed toward value-based purchasing approaches tied to quality or value. Operational Efficiency draws on the strong track record of the Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices Companies in helping health systems improve efficiency, minimize complexity, and reduce costs through order performance, inventory management, and logistics strategies.
