Johnson & Johnson’s DePuy Synthes is investing €36 million in expanding research and development capabilities at its Ireland Innovation Center.
As part of the expansion, DePuy Synthes will establish a 3D-printing Development and Launch Center and implement the Johnson & Johnson 3D Bioprinting Laboratory. DePuy Synthes expects significant developments at its Materials and Surface Technology Center, which includes co-locating with Johnson & Johnson’s 3D Printing Center of Excellence. It also expects to bring 30 new jobs.
The project is expected to take place over five years and is supported by the Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation through IDA Ireland.
