J-Pac Medical appoints operations VP and business development manager

J-Pac MedicalJ-Pac Medical – which specializes in implantable textiles, turnkey packaging, thermoformed packaging, and manufacturing services for medical devices – today announced the appointment of Tim Valentine as vice president of operations and Fred Finocchiaro as manager of business development.

Valentine has a successful track record of on-time delivery, cost reduction and team leadership in manufacturing environments. Prior to joining J-Pac Medical, he held operations management positions at Watts Water Technologies, Freudenberg- NOK Sealing Technologies and Eaton Corp.’s  Fluid Power Division. He is a licensed professional engineer, a certified quality engineer, a certified ISO 9001 and TS16949 auditor, a certified Six Sigma black belt, and a certified Lean Systems greenbelt.

“I’m excited to join such a great team that exhibits exceptional dedication to growing its business,” Valentine said. “I’m committed to making J-Pac Medical the best it can be by identifying ways to optimize product flow from start to finish, improve maintenance and production operations, and reduce material waste.”

Fred Finocchiaro has over 20 years of experience in medical device–related business development, OEM contract manufacturing, managing product launches, sales training and personnel development. Prior to joining J-Pac Medical, Finocchiaro held senior sales positions at medical companies including Thermo Fisher Scientific and Symmetry Medical.

“Tim and Fred are great additions to the J-Pac Medical team as we look to optimize our operations and grow our business in the medical textiles, packaging, and manufacturing services markets for medical devices in order to best serve new and existing customers,” said Jeff Barrett, president and CEO of J-Pac Medical. “Both have proven to be successful, results-driven leaders who bring strong skillsets that are well aligned with our goals.”
