Company (LABSCO), the largest privately held supplier of diagnostic
instrumentation and clinical laboratory products to hospitals,
physician office laboratories, reference labs and other non-acute
care settings in the United States, has expanded its executive
leadership team. The Company announced the appointment of
Thomas Ording as vice president of operations and logistics,
Anthony J. Pericle as vice president of technology, and the
promotion of Mark Young as director of sales, diagnostic
systems.
Ording’s career includes more than 20 years of experience in
supply chain, logistics and sourcing in the appliance and plastics
industries. He started his career with General Electric (GE)
as a manufacturing manager and rapidly moved into increasing levels
of sourcing and logistics responsibility. He left GE to
become director of logistics of MA Hanna/Cadillac Plastic for
several years. He eventually returned to GE, ultimately
rising to oversee all logistics for GE’s appliance division. Ording
is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt who has led several teams in the
design and build out of distribution and logistics networks to
support high-volume, multi-location businesses and has extensive
experience in implementing ERP systems and logistics automation
technologies.
Pericle’s background includes more than 20 years of technology,
business solution development and sales and marketing experience.
He specializes in using technology to empower management and sales
teams to run their businesses more effectively and profitably.
He started his career in medical products distribution sales with
General Medical Corporation in 1991 and advanced to senior director
of integrated business solutions. He founded Advanous in
1999, a company specializing in distributor price optimization, and
he is the founder of ProfitOptics, a company specializing in
