APVS 04, 06, 08, 15 (Air Piloted, Isolation Valves)
The APVS series is comprised of four different sized valves and provides many versatile options for handling caustic media, all while allowing safe operation in volatile areas.
The series includes inert gas/spring-operated valves to control high-purity, aggressive, and corrosive liquid chemicals while allowing a fl ow rate superior to other similar valves on the market.
Each APVS Valve can be configured to meet critical user requirements with ordering options that include various port sizes, seal materials, pilot options, and valve function.
In addition, an optional magnetic piston is available for end-of-stroke position sensing and can be combined with a magnetic position sensor to maintain positive feedback.
Media Separated Solenoid Valves
Spartan Scientific’s Media Separated product line consists of a variety of different types of isolation valves which have been specifi cally designed and engineered to control the fl ow of a particular media without allowing contamination or premature failure to occur. Proportional Control Valve: Stepper 12
Most proportional valves require constant power to maintain their position. However the Stepper 12 saves energy by maintaining it’s position with minimal power and once in it’s correct position, only require 60mA to maintain a steady state.
With more than 1,500 different positions, it precisely regulates fl ow output and requires minimal power to maintain a desired position, maximizing energy savings.
The Stepper 12 is self-contained with control circuitry (including an innovative M12 connector) for both the motor and valve embedded into the unit. This eliminates needing to purchase a separate control device, which can compromise performance. In addition, control can be tailored to increase resolution, enhancing reliable and repeatable flows.
Applications for the Stepper 12 are limited only by your imagination. Aside from general manufacturing, the Stepper 12 can be used in medical, food and drug processing, drinking water, automotive, heavy equipment, agriculture, fluid temperature control, and many more.
