Mack Molding recently announced that it has appointed Jonathan Whitney as the company’s director of business development as the company merges its northern and sorter divisions.
Whitney will report directly to the company’s president Jeff Somple.
“Jon is a seasoned member of the Mack family and an accomplished engineer,” Somple said. “During his tenure with us, he has consistently shown a keen ability to target new markets, driving sales growth and increased diversity in our customer base. Unifying our sales teams under Jon not only reflects his contributions to the organization, it allows us to bring increased focus and strategic execution to the prospecting and on boarding of new customers.”
Whitney was the director of business development for the Mack Molding’s northern division since 2016. He first joined the company in 2013 as a business development manager for the New England region. Whitney previously served as a senior project manager for the design, development and commercialization of cardiovascular devices at Abiomed. He has also worked for Olympus, Alkermes and Raytheon.
