Medbio announced that it has expended it manufacturing capacity with a second manufacturing facility in Grand Rapids, Mich.
The new facility is 25,000 sq. ft and sits adjacent to the company’s current 65,000 sq. ft facility. Medbio’s new manufacturing facility will give the company an extra 12,000 sq. ft of cleanroom space and will also house the medical device and diagnostic assembly and packaging operations.
“Medbio has experience strong and steady growth, driving the need for additional manufacturing capacity and cleanroom space,” John Woodhouse, director of sales and marketing for Medbio, said in a press release. “Moving our assembly operations into the new facility allows us to significantly expand existing cleanroom space, enabling us to add several new molding presses.”
