Minnesota-based trade group Medical Alley recently announced that it has appointed Natus Medical CEO Chris Landon as its new board chair, with Fairview Health Services CEO James Hereford staying on as chair emeritus.

A veteran of Philips and Medtronic, Landon was previously vice chair of Medical Alley’s board. He took over the corner office at Wayzata, Minnesota–based Natus Medical in 2024. The company makes technology and software to screen, diagnose, and treat disorders affecting the brain, neural pathways, and the eight sensory nervous systems.

In a LinkedIn post earlier this week announcing Landon’s appointment, Medical Alley said Landon “brings global experience, deep industry insight, and a clear belief in the power of building together.”

In December, Landon joined Medical Design & Outsourcing, MassDevice, and DeviceTalks editors for a DeviceTalks Weekly podcast discussion of the top medtech news of 2025:
