The Spotlight Medical Extrusion & Secondary Operations Conference will be held Nov. 7 at the Marriott Minneapolis West in St. Louis Park, Minn., according to its organizer Steve Maxson, Graham Engineering Corp.’s director of business development for extrusion.
“The focus of our Spotlight conferences is on medical extrusion and secondary operations such as over-molding and tipping for catheters and delivery systems,” Maxson said in a news release.
The keynote speaker will be Donna Bibber, VP of sales and marketing for Isometric Micro Molding. Bibber is a University of Massachusetts Lowell graduate with 25 years of experience in micro manufacturing. She’s published papers on micro and ultra-precision manufacturing topics worldwide.
Graham Engineering Corp. organizes two Spotlight conferences in varying locations each year to highlight important developments and new technologies in medical extrusion and secondary operations.
The Graham Group (York Pa.) acquired majority interest in American Kuhne in 2012, followed by Graham Engineering Corp.’s acquisition of Welex in June 2013 – creating a convergence of technologies, people and capabilities in extrusion.
