MedPlast announced that it has finished the acquisition of Integer Holding’s Advanced Surgical and Orthopedics business. The company plans to rebrand as Viant to showcase the new strategic direction.

The addition of Integer’s business expands our capabilities and offerings and enables us to achieve our goal of being a full-service supplier to our customers,” Brian King, CEO of MedPlast, said in a press release. “Our new name, Viant, represents our dedication to our customers and to the patients that our customers serve; and is indicative to our commitment that ‘we’re in it for life.’ We could not be more pleased to rebrand as Viant in conjunction with the close of this newest acquisition.”
MedPlast has doubled its size to nearly $1 billion in sales following the acquisition of Advanced Surgical and Orthopedics. It also has expanded its metals capabilities while expanding its footprint into Europe.
The company also announced that it plans to move its headquarters to Foxborough, Mass. following the acquisition.
