Dexcom’s new G6 CGM features a simple auto-applicator that inserts a small sensor just beneath the skin. The sensor and transmitter can then continuously measure glucose levels below the skin and send data wireless to a smartphone for 10 days before needing to be replaced. Data can be shared with up to five followers.
