The system offers predictive assessments and video consultations to help elderly people live more freely at home. It features a large touch screen that is always on to allow users to always be in touch with family members or caregivers.
Medication reminders can be configured to send reminders at certain time intervals or can be set to remind users to perform other healthcare related treatments. If a user misses the dosage or fails to interact with the reminder, family members and caregivers will be alerted.
The system also features a check-in option that has users press a button to let family members and caregivers know that everything is going all right at different times throughout the day. If the button has not been pressed for a certain amount of time, the system will alert family members and caregivers.
Ethel offers a “call me request” which allows users to ask a loved one to call them at the press of a button.
The system also features an exercise video, web browsing, email and text messaging, automated alerts, photos, videos and video calling.
