Device that stops nosebleeds at the arterial source w/o plugging the nose

Category: Health, Medical and Biotech
Subcategory: Advanced Therapeutics

From the winners: “Nose It All is a medical-grade oral device that stops nosebleeds at the arterial source, up to 3x faster than any traditional method. Inserted under the top lip, pressure is directed upwards toward the anterior artery using the patented bite tab, stopping nosebleeds in as little as three minutes, hands-free, without tissues, sponges, or chemicals.”

“Matt Ibarra created Nose It All while seeking remedies for his three children, all chronic nosebleeders. Inspired by a technique used by the Boy Scouts, he invented an oral device that puts pressure on the anterior artery that feeds 90% of nosebleeds, avoiding the nasal cavity completely. Sketches, mockups, and prototypes were tested (50+ iterations) to perfect a solution that worked for children and adults. The key development was the bite tab, which allowed users to control and sustain pressure to the artery by biting upward, creating a treatment that stopped bleeds 3-5x faster than anything available, without plugging the nasal cavity.”

“Nose It All is the first FDA-registered device inserted into the mouth to stop anterior nosebleeds, bypassing the nasal cavity completely. Traditional remedies including tissues, gauze, and gels are messy, unhygienic, and require insertion into the nostrils, with users waiting 15 minutes or more to stop a nosebleed. Nose It All is the first and only oral nosebleed treatment that stops bleeds using pressure with its patented bite tab, stopping nosebleeds in as little as three minutes! Nose It All gives its users the ability to treat nosebleeds quickly and hands-free while breathing freely through the nose.”
