Sarstedt, Germany — With over 30 years of experience in high-precision laser material processing, the German company MeKo® announces the opening of its new subsidiary, MeKo MedTech S.A., in Costa Rica. This expansion marks the company’s first site outside of Germany and highlights its commitment to innovation, sustainable growth, and proximity to key strategic markets in the Americas.
Kai Leymann, President of MeKo® MedTech S.A., expert in nitinol and medical device manufacturing, will lead the new operation. With a 1,400-square-meter facility, the company will contribute to local economic growth by creating high-quality jobs and fostering the transfer of specialized technical knowledge.
