Cleaning-products manufacturer MicroCare has created a position of managing director for MicroCare Asia and promoted Jerald Chan to the position.
Chan has been with MicroCare since 2014. He will direct sales, marketing and administration operations of all MicroCare distributors, sales representatives and end users in the Asia-Pacific region, including India, greater China, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. He will also have a more prominent role in determining the company’s strategic direction including regulatory compliance and environmental sustainability.
“Jerald is instrumental in the company’s success as we continue to grow in the Pacific region,” said MicroCare EVP & COO Tom Tattersall in a news release. “MicroCare has been serving the Asia Pacific markets for nearly a decade, working with customers in many industries, including electronics, metal finishing, transportation, photonics, medical devices and aerospace. MicroCare has been rapidly growing in all of these areas thanks to the hard work of Jerald and our entire Singapore team. I’m very proud of their efforts.”
Chan earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing management from Murdoch University of Western Australia. Prior to joining MicroCare, he managed the Asia-Pacific sales operations for a German company providing high-tech electrical storage for off-grid sites. He lives with his family in Singapore. and will work from MicroCare Asia headquarters in Singapore.
