MicroCare has announced the appointment of a new director of manufacturing to oversee the day-to-day operations of its manufacturing group.
Brian Donnelly is a production specialist who has spent his 20-year career across several manufacturing industries. These include consumer beverages, tire manufacturing, magnet wire/nonferrous metals and most recently, high-volume latex processing. He has led large teams in all aspects of manufacturing where he has worked to improve effectiveness and employee engagement, according to the company.
MicroCare makes hundreds of cleaning, coating and lubricating fluids used in the manufacture, installation and maintenance of a range of products in the electronics, medical, fiber optic and metal finishing industries. In his newly established position, Donnelly will lead multiple manufacturing teams located across several MicroCare facilities, focusing on employees’ professional development and on continuous improvement initiatives.
“I am excited to join the MicroCare team,” Donnelly said in a news release. “The team has been very welcoming and open to new ideas about how we can drive excellence in manufacturing. Everyone understands the potential of what we can achieve as a business, and is an active participant in turning that opportunity into a reality.”
Donnelly earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and is certified as a Green Belt in Six Sigma.
