Minnesota Rubber and Plastics receives 2015 Best Quality Award From Xiamen Runner Industrial Corporation

Minnesota Rubber and Plastics has been awarded the 2015 Best Quality Award From Xiamen Runner Industrial Corporation of China. The annual award is presented to suppliers meeting the highest quality standards in a year and best among Xiamen’s thousands of suppliers.

“Minnesota Rubber and Plastics has demonstrated its commitment to quality excellence with outstanding performance essential to Xiamen Runner’s efforts to provide its customers with best products and services in the industry,” said Howe Yun, the company’s General Manager announcing the award.

Xiamen Runner was China’s first company supplying the plumbing industry to obtain ISO9002 certification. Since that time, it has received many additional certifications including UPC, CSA and NSF certifications.

Howe Yun, general manager of Minnesota Precision Products (Suzhou) Ltd., the MR&P China facility, said, “The award exemplifies our teamwork and commitment in operational excellence and driving towards zero defect. Our design and control systems continue to show dividends especially in terms of overall alignment across the organization.”
