CLEVELAND, June 22, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — The National
Association of Public Hospitals and Health Systems (NAPH)
announced plans to launch an exclusive online community for
employees at its member hospitals, becoming one of the first
hospital associations to expand into a year-round Within3 online
collaborative community. For the first time, NAPH members will be
able to collaborate on national, regional and local issues in an
online forum, enabling continuous feedback and sharing of best
practices. This will facilitate discussions and strategies for
providing needed care to the nation’s most vulnerable patient
populations.
“Our safety net hospitals are at a crossroads,” said Bruce
Siegel, CEO of NAPH. “As they strive to do more with less, it
is imperative that their leadership have a fast and efficient way
to connect and collaborate with each other. Not only can they
share what works, they can stimulate conversation on what’s
possible and develop new solutions that can be disseminated quickly
to all.”
The new private NAPH online community is built for and managed
by NAPH, powered by Within3 technology. It is designed to foster
ongoing discussion and provide dynamic networking, all of which
meet the growing need for collaboration among today’s health care
leaders.
“Within3 is pleased to work with NAPH designing this exclusive
online community,” said Within3 CEO Lance Hill. “This community
showcases how an association can bring its national members
together in one platform, creating ongoing engagement and
interaction. NAPH’s members will be able to conveniently
collaborate and leverage each other’s collective expertise which
will result in enhanced management of our nation’s most important
public hospitals.”
