The brand-new 110,000-ft², Class A industrial facility has ISO-7 clean room space, all new state-of-the art production equipment, and ISO 13485 certification. It joins Nelipak’s three other flexible packaging sites in Europe “to support growing customer demand in the Americas region,” the company said.
Cranston, Rhode Island-based Nelipak Healthcare Packaging’s flexible product line includes custom-designed roll-stock, die cut lids and sheets, pouches, and bags with a wide range of material substrates such as films, Tyvek, papers, foil-laminates and Nelipak’s heat-seal coating technologies, including Nelipak CR27 and SBP2000.
“We are thrilled to announce the opening of our first flexible packaging site in the Americas, bringing our high-quality flexible healthcare packaging products closer to our customers in the region,” Nelipak CEO Pat Chambliss said in a news release. “We are open for business in Winston-Salem and are actively developing and delivering high-quality sterile-barrier packaging solutions which also help our customers deliver on their sustainability and business continuity objectives.”
