New Medical Scales Designed for Hospitals and Healthcare Centers

June 21, 2016 By SR Instruments, Inc.

SR Instruments, a manufacturer of purpose-built scales for hospitals, medical facilities, and long-term care centers, has added the SR411i patient floor scale to their product lineup.

The new low-profile and ultra-wide scale, designed for effortless patient standing comfort, is suited for surgical centers, telehealth applications, and other healthcare facilities where a basic, reliable weighing solution is needed.

“Over time, we have received numerous requests from customers for a more simplified stand-on product,” Mark Schulz, product design manager at SR Instruments, said in announcing the new product.

This new series medical scale follows the introduction last month of another new scale, the SR585i. The SR585i patient stand-on scale features wide-grip, wrap-around handrails for improved patient safety and support.

SR411i features include:

• Ultra-wide platform of 23 inches wide x 15 inches long
• Wired digital wall mount display
• AC powered and always on auto weigh
• EHR/EMR ready with serial output
• Weight capacity of up to 880 lb

The list price of the scale series starts at $599, according to the company.
