Noxilizer and Sterigenics said today they inked a global trade agreement which will position Sterigenics as the exclusive provider of Noxilizer’s nitrogen dioxide contract sterilization services and feasibility and research studies for pharma, biotech and med device firms.
Baltimore, Md.-based Noxilizer said it expects to have the 1st NO2 sterilization systems operational at Sterigenics facilities in the US by the end of the year with additional installations following.

As part of the agreement, Broadview Heights, Ohio-based Sterigenics will also offer NO2 sterilization consulting services to its customers, the companies said.

We regularly monitor new technologies and are excited to be able to add NO2 processing to our suite of offerings,” Sterigenics prez Philip Macnabb said in a press release.
