NxStage Medical Inc., a Lawrence maker of dialysis products, has named Michael Miller Jr. to the new post of president, international. In the new position, he will be charged with promoting NxStage’s global growth in the European Union, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.
Miller previously worked as senior vice president and general manager of Philips Healthcare’s Cardiac Care Business, where he was responsible for growing four medical device business units in new markets. Prior to Philips, he worked for Johnson & Johnson Medical Inc. as director and vice president of U.S. Sales for Advanced Sterilization Products and as director of international and new business development – worldwide. Miller earned an MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Yale University.
