AAOS Roundup: Smith & Nephew announces line of suture anchors
Smith & Nephew announced that it has launched its Q-Fix Curved, Q-Fix Mini and SutureFix Curved All-Suture Anchor systems at AAOS in New Orleans this year. The suture anchors are designed to be used in applications where there is limited space and the anatomy is difficult to access. They are also designed to help in optimal suture anchor placement during drilling and insertion. SutureFix Curved and Q-Fix Curved systems help improve access and trajectory when drilling in bone tunnels.
The company announced that it has also launched its Q-Fix Mini All-Suture Anchor that helps reduce the tunnel drill depth and implant length to 17.1 mm.
Q-Fix and SutureFix All-Suture Anchor uses active deployment that eliminates manual tensioning and makes deployment reliable.
