AAOS Roundup: Medacta launches Moto medial partial knee, shoulder system and MasterLoc Lateralized Plus hip system
Medacta has launched its MOTO Medial Partial Knee, shoulder system and MasterLoc Lateralized Plus at this year’s American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons annual meeting in New Orleans.
The MOTO Partial Knee System is designed to be a compartment-specific, fixed-bearing solutions to partial knee replacement or unicompartmental knee arthroplasty. They are designed for specific compartment using an anthropometric database of more than 45,000 CT and MRI knee scans to get a better understanding of anatomic coverage, contours, size range and precise fit. It also has the instrumentation to make precise bone resections for a balance knee flexion-extension gap mismatch while keeping a slight alignment under-correction.
The Medacta Shoulder System features anatomic and reverse options for complex shoulder arthritis.
MasterLoc Lateralized Plus is a flat-tapered wedge stem used for total hip replacement with a unique progressive triple offset that gives surgeons more options to meet patient needs without impacting leg length.
