Paragon 28 has launched its TenoTac Soft Tissue Fixation System that is designed to give surgeons a simplified option for tendon transfers.
TenoTac is able to correct flexor tendon transfers without releasing tissue attachments distally by balancing plantar and dorsal tension. The system’s cannulated implants and instrumentation also makes the process reproducible.
Using a titanium threaded implant and a simple insertion motion, the TenoTac Soft Tissue Fixation System offers fixation of soft tissue to bone. The phalanx can be prepared with the instrumentation and the plantar implant component is inserted into a bone tunnel. Temporary fixation and correction are able to happen once the implant is inserted and fixation is locked into place when the dorsal and plantar teeth bite into the bone.
The implants come in a non-sterile configuration with all of the instrumentation needed for the procedure. It also features three sizes of implants to fit different patient anatomies.
