A team of researchers from Arizona have developed a “band-aid” that can keep a heart safe.
The implant, MyCardia, is designed to be placed on human hearts suffering from heart failure.
“This is a time application,” says Steven Goldman, chief medical officer to Avery Therapeutics to AZ Family. “We put this on the heart, patient walks out the door and bingo, theoretically or potentially, they’re done, treatment is over with.
