Researchers from Queen’s University Belfast have been designing a rechargeable flexible battery for pacemakers.
Current batteries are rigid, causing patient discomfort, according to the university.
Materials for this battery include non-flammable electrolytes and organize composites, biocompatible materials. It is also designed to decompose.
