L-com Global Connectivity announced today that it has acquired the exclusive rights to manufacture and sell Point Six Wireless sensors on a global basis through a partnership with Point Six Wireless of Lexington, Kentucky.
Point Six Wireless designs industry-leading wireless sensors featuring both RF and IR technology. The company’s products are particularly well-suited to customized application-specific solutions and have been chosen by Fortune 500 OEMs and organizations across multiple market sectors to deliver wireless sensor solutions.
Point Six Wireless temperature and humidity sensors, CO2 sensors, data loggers, people-counting, and energy-monitoring sensors help organizations manage energy usage, optimize operations and meet regulatory compliance standards. BACnet and Modbus protocols are available for easy integration with Building Management Systems. The Point Six cloud services software, Point View, can monitor sensors, generate reports and send text and email alerts and alarms to any PC, tablet or smartphone.

Manufacturing and distribution of most Point Six Wireless products has been successfully transferred to and launched at L-com’s Denton, Texas facility with the remainder to be completed by the end of January.
