ProTrials Research, a clinical research organization (CRO), announced that it is celebrating 20 years of clinical research excellence.
Launched in 1996 by industry veterans Jodi Andrews and Inger Arum, ProTrials is a multi-million dollar global organization dedicated to improving the quality of clinical research. The company’s focus is to provide pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies the ability to move a new drug or device from conception to regulatory approval. With a 95% repeat customer base, ProTrials maintains a reputation for excellence and was recognized by CenterWatch as one of the fastest growing, quality-focused, specialty CROs in North America.
“When we began in 1996, our vision was simple and straightforward: to provide sponsors a team of highly experienced, dedicated and detail-oriented clinical research professionals,” said Jodi Andrews, co-founder and co-CEO. “Over the last two decades, we’re proud to say that while we’ve grown our clinical research offerings and expanded into new geographic territories, we’ve remained steadfast in our original vision and continue to provide top-notch services to the industry.”
To commemorate their anniversary, the company is launching “Twenty for Twenty: ProTrials Celebrates Two Decades of Clinical Research Excellence.” The storytelling initiative will profile a company milestone that occurred each year over the last 20 years. Beginning May 2, 2016, profiles will be featured each week on the company’s LinkedIn and Facebook pages.
“Through all of our endeavors, we strive to offer the highest level of global clinical research services that demonstrate professionalism, experience, quality and integrity, while ensuring career growth and job stability for our employees,” said Inger Arum, co-founder and co-CEO. “Our repeat business and high employee retention are the reasons why we experience longevity and success: sponsors keep coming back because of our commitment to excellent service and our employees stay because they believe in our vision. The ‘Twenty for Twenty’ initiative gives us an opportunity to tell the story of how ProTrials has evolved, while celebrating the hard work that has made our ongoing success a reality.”
In the 20 years since its launch, ProTrials has gone on to receive numerous accolades and industry awards. The company has been included among the top 2,500 companies identified by Inc. magazine’s “Inc. 5000,” a highly selective list of the fastest growing private companies in the U.S. For several years, the Silicon Valley Business Journal designated ProTrials one of the “Top 50 Women-Owned Businesses in the Silicon Valley.”
Additionally, the company was awarded top honors in the 5th annual Stevie Awards for “Women in Business.” Since its inception, Andrews, Arum and their team of experts have grown ProTrials into an esteemed organization, servicing sponsors worldwide. In addition to maintaining excellence in its clinical research offerings, the company is currently growing its capabilities in data management and biometrics through key partnerships, while continuing to expand globally.
