PTI Engineered Plastics has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2020 honor by The Detroit Free Press. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, according to the Macomb, Mich.-based company.
An anonymous employee survey measured 15 drivers of engaged workplace cultures, including alignment, execution, and connection.
“In times of great change, it is more important than ever to maintain a connection among employees,” said Energage CEO Eric Rubino in a news release. “When you give your employees a voice, you come together to navigate challenges and shape your path forward based on real-time insights into what works best for your organization.”
PTI’s owner and CEO, Mark Rathbone, thanked employees for participating in the process.
“The feedback from the survey helps us understand what we are doing well, and highlights areas for improvement,” Rathbone said. “Although as a company we have received recognition from customers and the community, this recognition is our most significant accomplishment.”
PTI has been named a Top Workplace seven times by the Detroit Free Press, according to the company. It specializes in custom injection molding and manufacturing of plastic components and assemblies.
