Qioptiq mag.x system 125 now Optimized for 35 mm Camera Format Sensors

October 27, 2016 By Nic Abraham

The new 1.73x tube lens enables mag.x system 125 inspection microscope to be used with popular camera format for high-resolution, large area inspection and imaging.

The new 1.73x tube lens enables mag.x system 125 inspection microscope to be used with popular camera format for high-resolution, large area inspection and imaging.

Qioptiq, an Excelitas Technologies Company and global technology leader focused on delivering innovative optical and photonic solutions, introduces the new 1.73x Tube Lens as a widely desired addition to the mag.x system 125. Representing a new class of optical systems that enable microscope-like resolution with wide fields-of-view to support modern high-resolution sensors, the 1.73x Tube Lens makes the mag.x system 125 a perfect match for sensors with the 35 mm camera format.

The fully-modular mag.x system 125 industrial microscope system was specially developed for use with large sensors – up to 57 mm diagonal – to enable submicron resolution over large object fields. It is ideally suited for submicron imaging in inspection and measurement applications, including micro-inspection, dimensional measurement, high-resolution inspection, semiconductor inspection, display inspection and fluorescence microscopy. The unmatched optical performance of mag.x system 125 is achieved with high numerical aperture lenses that feature an exceptionally large exit pupil.

Numerous applications benefit from the versatility and performance of this field-proven, off-the-shelf micro imaging system. The mag.x system 125’s combination of high-resolution optics and large-format sensors expedite many inspection tasks and enable applications, which may have previously been altogether unachievable.
