Medical device components supplier Qosina has established operations in Europe.
The new Qosina Europe offices are located in Milan, Italy, and managed by 30-year medtech veteran Giampaolo Meana, the Ronkonkoma, N.Y.–based company announced yesterday.
“The decision to expand into Europe was a logical step in our business growth strategy,” Qosina CEO Scott Herskovitz said in a news release.
“Our European market has grown considerably, and more companies look to Qosina to support their medical device development and production requirements. It’s critical that we have visibility where our customers live in order to serve them effectively.”
Founded in 1980, Qosina provides thousands of stock components to the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. Its catalog features more than 5,000 products.
