Qosina recently announced that it has launched its interactive catalog of 3D CAD models. The catalog helps customers download configurable 3D component drawings directly from the company’s website.

“Our customers want to get a head start on modeling their design. They want to test form, fit and function,” Ken Wolcott, director of marketing and product development at Qosina, said. “Qosina prides itself on having a business culture that is built around the customers’ needs. Launching this program is in direct response to requests from our customers, and we’re happy to offer them this new complimentary service.”

Prior to the 3D model feature, customers had to recreate components themselves. The interactive catalog helps streamline the process and allows customers download components and test them in their CAD design and speed up the design process.

The 3D CAD model catalog offers 100 file formats to download components as a native CAD file. Customers can also use an interactive 3D PDF data sheet that can be shared with non-CAD team members. Metadata in the catalog can be stored for future purchasing reference.
