Herskovitz will be the AHRC Foundation’s Leadership Award Recipient at its 71st Annual Rose Ball Gala on Oct. 21, 2021 at The Mansion at Oyster Bay.
The foundation seeks to benefit people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities.
On a personal level, Herskovitz has been an advocate of AHRC for many years, as his brother Michael is a former student. Herskovitz promotes a neurodiverse workforce within his own company, Qosina, and has provided an array of work programs for AHRC students and residents. This has allowed them to build critical skills to live self-directed lives and create meaningful change, according to the company.
Qosina (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) has supplied OEM components to the medical device and pharmaceutical industries for more than 40 years.
