Raumedic recently announced that CEO Martin Bayer was appointed chairman of the company and has relocated his office to the company’s North Carolina office. The company also appointed Martin Schenkel to as a member of Raumedic’s board.
As president and CEO of Raumedic, Bayer was previously the only board member. Since the company recently finished construction at its Mills River, N.C. site, Bayer moved his office to the U.S. to help the company establish itself in the U.S. medtech market.
“I look forward to devoting myself to this task and being on site will provide me with the best conditions,” Bayer said in a press release.
Under Bayer’s leadership, Raumedic has more than doubled its sale within the past 10 years while more than doubling its employee numbers.
Schenkel was recently appointed a member of the board of Raumedic and will serve as the chief operating officer. He will be responsible for production at all Raumedic sites and will also be in charge of the company headquarters.
Raumedic plans to expand its management team in the new few months.
