Stress management can now be worn.
The device rejiva by Rijuven Corp., is a wireless biofeedback patch designed with an FDA-registered wearable monitor that tracks five areas: overall health, stress, heartbeat index, activity, and rest.
Using Bluetooth technology, it connects with an app that provides users with tips for improving personal health and reducing stress levels.
“It’s very well known that stress can contribute to many health problems, such as high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity and diabetes,” says rejiva. “rejiva provides a way for people to manage stress in their daily lives. It is easy and comfortable to wear, using either a chest strap or a skin-friendly adhesive that peels on and off.”
The device is designed with health and kinetic sensors to measure Heart Rate Variability (HRV) and analyze the body’s autonomic nervous system responses (ANS). It also continuously monitors stress and alerts the user when the device detects major sudden changes.
If the device measures high levels of stress, the software will prompt the user to take part in a short “De-Stress” exercise.
rejiva also helps users slow down internal aging. The software includes “The Aging Module” that gives the user an assessment of their internal age based on the body’s ANS response to paced breathing. The results follow-up with dietary, exercise, and other advice to help turn back the clock.
According to rejiva, “As you make changes in your lifestyle, Biological Age testing will help you correlate improvements in your health with your real biological age.”
Other feedback includes:
- Sleep: rejiva device monitors the users breathing pattern and body position while sleeping.
- Energy: rejiva measures the ANS response to activates, such as standing up which causes the heart rate to rise.
- Inner balance: rejiva records stress levels. If levels are high, users can try a “De-Stress” exercise.
