Resolution Medical today said it has hired Peter Herman as CEO.
Herman replaces former CEO David Blaeser, who joined the Fridley, Minnesota-based medical device contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) in 2020. Blaeser’s LinkedIn page says he is now at Nextern in White Bear Lake, Minnesota.
Herman was previously VP of multi-site operations at Resonetics, and before that held management positions at JunoPacific, Lake Region Medical and UFE.

Steve Schmidt and Shawn Patterson founded Resolution Medical in 2012. The firm’s services cover engineering, research, biosimulation and commercial manufacturing for Class I, II and III medical devices including active implantables. The firm serves clients involved with interventional therapies such as structural heart, neuromodulation, heart failure, electrophysiology and oncology

The company is owned by Nashville-based private equity firm Arcline Investment Management.
