CLEVELAND, Jan. 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — RSB Spine, LLC, a
medical device company focused on developing unique modular spinal
fusion products for surgical treatment of degenerative disc
disease, today announced a 97% sales increase for 2010 versus 2009,
with a 184% sales increase for the fourth quarter of 2010 versus
the prior-year period. The company also reports an average
growth rate of 33% for five sequential quarters.
RSB Spine Chief Executive Officer John A. Redmond said: “It was
a very challenging year for implant companies, and our strong
finish and consecutive quarterly growth are a direct result of
unique products, great employees and stellar execution by our
master distributor Paradigm BioDevices. Our accomplishments
in 2010 position us to achieve our strategic goals for 2011.”
“The InterPlate® platform is gaining rapid market acceptance
due to the unique selection of implants available,” said Mike
O’Neill President & Chief Executive Officer of Paradigm
BioDevices. “For the first time surgeons have the freedom to select
the flush-fit interbody construct they want and to determine how
that construct will behave. We do not box our surgeons into
an implant technology with limited options.”
