With a strong background in implanted, wearable, connected in-hospital, and at-home devices, S3 Connected Health works with their MedTech partners to add device connectivity, develop critical medical device software and digital health solutions, and create digital infrastructure that support these devices.
Speaking ahead of the conference, Bill Betten, Director of Solutions – Medtech at S3 Connected Health highlighted the challenges MedTech companies currently face saying: “We live in a connected world, constantly in touch with a variety of people, devices, and locations. Yet, connections are not enough on their own. The challenges in the medical world are to take varied and disorganized data, collect it, filter it, analyze it, and make decisions, that support clinicians and patients achieve the best possible healthcare outcomes.
Furthermore, this must be done in an ecosystem with a variety of regulatory and payment systems with multiple interested parties requiring the information along the way. Navigating through this requires technical, business, and domain expertise, as well as patience. We’re here to address these challenges and develop innovative and effective products for our partners in MedTech companies”
Bill will be moderating ‘A conversation with Baxter: How Connected Care is Solving Everyday Challenges’, where Chris Gutmann and Athar Mirza will discuss Baxter’s approach to connected care and how they are using device connectivity to help transform the clinician and patient experience, with infusion systems as a case study. The session will take place on the Wednesday as part of the DeviceTalks: DESIGN IT Track at 1:30 – 2:15pm and promises to be an insightful and engaging discussion not to be missed.
DeviceTalks Boston brings together MedTech professionals to exchange insights and connect with engineering, manufacturing, and commercialization experts.
