Safe Orthopaedics launches bone substitute for Walnut cervical cage

Safe Orthopaedics, a supplier of innovative ranges of sterile implants combine with its single-use instruments, has commercially launched a bone substitute in Europe for its Walnut cage in cervical surgeries. A synthetic bone substitutes specialist developed the device to promote bone growth and make vertebral fusion safer.

The always sterile, ready-to-use SteriSpineCC Walnut cage and ancillary from Safe Orthopaedics has also received 510(k) marketing approval from the FDA. It is currently not commercialized in the U.S., but is expected to have quick approvals in the Latin America and Asia-Pacific regions.
