The sensor module features the company’s CMOSens Technology for IR detection to sense humidity, temperature and carbon dioxide. The ambient humidity and temperature is output by Sensirion’s algorithm through modeling and compensation of external heat sources.
Sensirion also offers a SEK-Environmental Sensing evaluation kit with the SCD30 sensor module. The kit uses plug-and-play hardware with easy-to-use viewer software to create an in-depth evaluation. The ControlCenter viewer software displays and logs sensor signals for multiple sensors that are connected to SensorBridges on the same PC. The evaluation kit includes a Sensirion SensorBridge, all connector cables and various sensor samples.
The SCD30 is available on Sensirion’s website.
