CCSi’s SG-220 Automated Density Tester evaluates the density of rubber products using the ‘hydrostatic method.’ The device is constructed of stainless steel and has an LED compartment illumination. Its motorized system weighs the specimen in air and water, then calculates and displays the results on the built-in touchscreen display. The device has an integrated temperature probe and fully automated test sequence that doesn’t require compressed air. It features a high precision weight module with 220 g (gross) capacity and 000.0001 g resolution.
The Automated Density Tester comes with ISO/IEC calibration and offers optional data acquisition software available for an additional cost. The device complies with ISO 1183-1 Method A, ASTM D297 Part 16.3 and ASTM D792 Method D. Also included with the device is a beaker, basket sample holder and wire sample holder. The device is manufactured in the U.S. by CCSi.
